So after lowering the car some more, staying up till 2:00 am washing and waxing the car, i'm finally on my way to this awesome event.
well then this happened:
damange to lower wishbone:
Honestly I was incredibly lucky as no one was injured and no major damage was done. I had already planed on taking a few days off for my birthday (what a present huh?), which aloted me the time to get her straighted out.
also straighted out some electrical gremlins and upgraded the instrument cluster.
Anyhow back on the ACTs working on getting something else. Thinking of parting out the enkeis to recoupe some money. Feel free to make any offers if interested.
Take a mallet and a heat gun to that and it will look like new
My friend ruined a set of rikens(optional FC wheels) by what he claimed to have been running over a "good sized" rock. I got the wheel and heated it up with a heat gun and smashed it back about 3" on one side and 1" on the other.
It looked like shit without a restoration, but for a ghetto fab job it held air.

I have both a mallet and a heat gun. So I will give it a shot for shits and giggles but don't have high expecations. lol
Have another set lined up for Thursday. I think they will be well received.
I am selling the enkeis if anyone is interested feel free to make offers. 15x8.5 et-20 sandwich mounted 3piece. 5x120 not sure of the CB but larger than 72.6 Selling parts or whole set depending on offers.
Did the wheel fall off because it wasnt bolted tight enough?
I had a similar experience with a rear tyre - although the wheel was torqued up, it only had 4 bolts of 5, was out of balence, and snapped a bolt. Didnt quite fall off but almost did, was scary as hell.
Well, moral of story, use good bolts and torque them up TIGHT. These cars are heavier than you think.
Good luck with the project.
Get some BBS rims on there!
Got a new project car so this is getting put on hold for a little while. Doing a full strip down and color change so that requires all my attention for now.
Looks the best in it's current state. That's sketch about the wheel. I'm only running 4 bolts on one of my corners because one of my studs stripped out. Maybe I should fix that....
