Thanks for the infoOriginally posted by evilstar View PostFor the mesh. 16x8s with 205/40/16 tires. I want to get wider and taller tires soon tho.
♥ Raf
Is a lot of the wheel lip exposed with the 205/40's? Like super stretched look? Im in the process of picking tires for my 16x8's, want something slightly stretched, but not super stretched lots of lip exposed. Got any close up shots of that wheel tire combo?
X2 with the info on the e24 subforum on bf.c , although a lot of the guys are purists and don't care for the stanced look. We'll see what happens after I post some pics over there after I lower my 6 lol.

I beleive they are gta wheels. They look exactly the same expect all the gta wheels ive seem are black and these where gold. The polished lips and faces came after, still have gold windows. I will try to remember to take a close up.Originally posted by righteousrags88 View Postare those pontiac gta wheels? I just picked up a set and was wondering what they would look like on a six. Don't know the name of the coilover I have now. But Ireland engineering makes a few parts for the early models. They are just not listed on the website, you have to call in. I know they make a set of coilovers for a lot less then ground control. Same or better quality for a fraction of the price.Originally posted by VanDamage View PostThanks for the info, I'll have to check out that subforum. I have thought about cutting springs but I don't want to ruin the handling of the car as I love driving it aggressively when the time is right. Not sure how that would effect this particular car but I have heard bad things about cut springs. Do you have Ground Control coilovers for the rear? As far as I know that is the only company that makes E12/earlyE24 coilovers
Also Imo the car felt better after I cut the springs. A little stiffer and less like a floating boat. The biggest factor is the shocks.

Love the car it has a way to go but its coming together slowly.
Only bad think about he car is ive had the worse luck with flats. Have had 3 in 5 months
the mesh are 16x8 the enkies 15x8.5 I'm going to get some really meaty tires for the 16s. I want that mean track look. Suspension wise im running cut springs in front on bilstein HD shocks rear im runing coilovers on Bilstein Sport shocks. The early model shares parts with the e12 and a few parts from other models but parts can be a real pain. BF.C 6 series subforum is a great resource of knowledge and parts.

I actually was liking the look of it on those smaller wheels, would have looked the business with more low. That being said it looks so great now!
Where did you get those mesh wheels centres for the ACT's?
And what are you running for suspension? I also have an early e24 and parts are difficult to find!

Car looks so much better than when you got it.
Cut a coil or something and this will look even better.
Just do it, no questions.
