    Bump? I guess...

Decided to get one last shoot in before winter mode has to come back. Nothing much has changed really...

You take incredible pictures, but I still am confused as to why this isn't on the floor yet. Do one of these some justice and destroy it's under-belly.

Not too bad, roads shouldn't really be an excuse as I live just 2 hrs south in MO and in a rural area and have had a couple cars lower. I like the start but hopefully you keep going on it.

I have no more paint on the bottom of my front bumper actually.
I'm pretty happy with this height honestly. Next season I'd like to take the rear collars out because as it is they're at max low and are approximately 1/2 inch higher than the fronts which aren't even maxed out.

I'd also like to get some 18's to have more sidewall...once again, next season. I'm also considering getting a new car actually so the Fusion might not see a second season.

Thanks for the compliment on my pics. I try really hard to do my best! Here's my FB page. I'd appreciate the like!

I like it, but as everyone else said, dropping it a bit more would be epic

for a lowered clean look, this car is very nice. all the jdm, euro and rare wheels that are favorites of mine, for some reason the Axis Super Hiros have ALWAYS won me over. just the simple design i guess, they kinda look multipiece. either way, to match the wheels, buy some plasti-dip and spray the front chrome grilles black, along with the chrome trim around your tails. will tie everything in together. when i had my Altima, i did all black wheels, then went ahead and took the time to mask the hell out of my car, and plasti-dipped the chrome trim around the windows. this way u can always peel it off later when u go back to stock if u trade in the car.

but anyway, i do like it, but yeah just to shut up some people on here (which i dont blame cause the whole premise of this site is super slam and stretch, which i support and agree and LOVE) i would slam the car just to take some pics, then raise it back up to drive again. just for now...

Had no issues at all. Perfectly reliable. I owned it for a year...only time it was in a shop was for a transmission fluid change maintenance.

I just sold it because I missed having a turbo and/or some semblance of power under the hood...and I had my eye on this GTI anyway...2009 with 43k for $3,000 under KBB, NADA, etc.

                          Oh no

I hope this doesn't become another mkv build, please do something to set it apart from the crowd. Glad that it's not black, white, grey, or silver, there are too many mkv's rolling around that look like that.

                            Oh no what?

No one ever cared about the Fusion...lol. I tried to be unique. I tried to do something different than the norm, but it rarely piqued anyone's interest. I mean for god's sake I lost to a stock Mustang GT at a show...the judges said they were looking for "pride of ownership" I laughed in their face! What shows more "pride of ownership" than modifying a car that no one ever looks twice at normally.

I had done everything to that car. I hit a brick wall after the coilovers. There was nothing else I could do without serious custom work which I have neither the money to pay someone to do nor experience to do myself.

Ultimately I was looking for some semblance of speed. No amount of bolt-ons could make that car as fast as the GTI is stock.

I got something I really wanted so I'm happy. The build will start as soon as it's paid off...hopefully in a year or less.
