I have de-arched 4x4 leaf springs, and they equal about -2'' in the rear with a stiffer spring rate, so there's a little more then meets the eye :P I'm gonna get some 4 inch blocks once we get the fenders pulled tomorrow.

I myself won't be doing the coilover setup, but I have a buddy who'll be doing it for me (I don't have a good enough mig welder ) But essentially I'll be extending the shock mount on the front up about 3-4 inches, and modifying my front shocks by taking 2'' diameter tube, welding a cap on one end, drilling a small hole to match the diameter of the strut rod, and building some generic tops. Then using some cheap sleeves welded to the 2'' tube with some good springs, and viola! Coilovers!

        • My last truck had some kind of coil setup, but it was kinda sketch lol. And since the yota is my second truck I don't really have to care about ride, so I'm just gonna take the torsion bars completely out

I rolled with no torsions daily for a while. Roll hard. Be a real man.

                That is all.

                • Ashton you dick

You know I can't do that. lol That would be easily gratifying. I make you work for your lulz!

Fender pulling crashed this morning because of some complications, so I assembled my new leaf spring shackles painted and ready to go with my poly bushings. I've been meaning to do this for almost a year now.

BTW, camper top says fuck you

                              • Sorry Ashton, I missed the meet because I was sick as FUCK Been out of work for the last week. Haven't touched the Datsun but I can't stand letting my build thread get buried.

Friend has some Recaro's from a Suzuki Swift GTI that I may be picking up. After that I'll be getting to work on the floor pans, and bodywork again.

Thinking about a muffler change too, even though this one isn't even 8 months old yet.

Dunno. I like the sound, but I'm not sure. Maybe I'll just add a resonator.

And a random picture for good measure
