There's a good two inches of room to tuck your exhaust up some more. Or we could just cut it off...

ya...you can easily tuck the exhaust up above the crossmember...

          been done plenty of times.

Well put your door mirrors on the fenders! Hahaha.

And that shifter is intense! I got a 20mm dildo shifter and that has plenty of throw - that's gunna be crazy.

Sorry guys, we pondered moving the exhaust up, but it wouldn't work It has to come down from the header, around the torsion bar, up over the trans crossmember, down under the rear crossmember for the carrier bearing, and back.

The trucks torsion bars are all in the way. If I ditched them, i could move it right to the side of the carrier bearing and out the back, but the torsion bar mounts to the rear crossmember get in the way.. I used to have side pipes running out of the driver side, but it was too loud.

If I bag it, I can do it

On that note!! Mounted the shifter...

It's pretty neat! Handle is actually wood with the Heineken logo (aluminum) epoxied on.

It sits VERY close to the steering wheel, which I don't like. Probably gonna heat it up and bend my shifter.

It's nice having it right by my hand. There's so much weight on top that it shifts with ease. A slight tug and the it carries momentum into the next gear.

shifter is cool, but looks like it would be about as comfortable as a dinner with the inlaws

Would look better if the logo wrapped around the handle more... maybe you could hammer it to fit better?

The shifter isn't a bad fit. It's not too uncomfortable, I actually kind of like it.

I don't really wanna 'form' the plates any tighter around it because I'd be too worried about cracking the paint/aluminum

My alternator adjusting bracket I'm working on.

And since I never post underhood shots, here's my dirty ass engine.

                          Good eyes

I was cleaning it in the garage and didn't want anything getting in the carb
