1979 GolfLD mk1 ''Smoky''

Hello. Greetings from Estonia.
I've been following this forum for long time. Now I decided to show my car.(GolfLD mk1 '79)
I bought it the 15th of January 2011. The car was in bad condition. Engine was 1.5D 37kw, smoked very much. Was four-speed manual gearbox. Brakes doesn't worked. Everywere was something wrong. Then I began to slowly build. I bought a new engine(1.6TD 51kw code CY), five-speed geabox, new brake pipes, TA-tech coils and much more small things what need to replace.

First i do under body works and after when i have more money, i will respray all car.

One offer is on the horizon. Vw Scirocco 1.8 83kw only 200eur. When i got money, i will buy it.

Hey.
All its okay whit car. Only some electricity problem was generator. Bought new car bulbs Osram Night Breaker. Changed the oil and oil filter..

Week ago starter motor broken, and few days ago front left brake line. Brake line broke was lucky, almost crash to other car.

After two months goes golf to winter sleep.
Few days ago i bought for 250 Euro winter car. Vw Passat GL B3 '88 1.8 79kw


In the summer it is planned purchase to Passat some coils, wheels.
