    Ported intake

Budget bucket seats and harnesses, while Im buying Recaro Pole Position

Schmiedmann exhaust headers (for the NA setup, to try the stroker setup)

    Thanks.

Soon it`s gonna be on the road. I mean I have to put the engine together... Im waiting for the ITB adapter plate that we are making to be finished and for the exhaust manifold I ordered. Im also waiting for the front lower wishbone bush that I ordered.

I gapped the piston rings (all 0.35mm)

Engine block was milled/decked by 2.5mm (Compression ratio should me now 12.x:1). Piston is now 0.4mm above deck.

Got this last week... AFPR - adjustable fuel pressure regulator

I also got this last weekend - heavy duty, kevlar ball bearing housing caster/camber plates

And... that's why (E46 wishbones setup)

One mass flywheel was lightened from 10.5kg to 9.3kg. It's not much but it's gonna rev fast, thrust me.

    New fuel filter

And that's the reason why I pulled the fenders and why I'll cut them.

It's gonna be less camber in the rear and 20mm spacer I think (I should have one pair of H&R spacers somewhere in the garage).

Bought S50 ITB intake system (much to be moded next week to fit them on M50)

New seals for the intake parts (for the injectors I have to buy them next week)

Took everything apart to clean it and to adjust the idle of the throttles.

New head gasket, all kind of seals (not all of them on this picture), bearings, etc.

    Hydraulic E-brake

I also bought this bad boy... I call it "bam bam" (turbo setup comes after the summer). It's Innovative turbo system turbocharger capable of 650+ HP. It's actually hybrid turbo... with ceramic ball bearing housing (oil and water cooled)

    New crankshaft seals

    Cleaned but not polished yet

    Polyurethane paint again

Pistons and rods were cleaned in ultrasound bath.

More of the wire wheel action.

I also bought M54 B30 bottom end engine block (needed the rotary assembly)

    M54 parts

M54 vs. M50 pistons and rods (M54 piston is 5mm lower)

Swaped the parts into M50 engine block (do you notice the 2.1mm below deck position?)

AND THAT'S PHOTOSHOP VERSION OF THE FINAL COLOR COMBO

I had to prime the engine bay... it stared to get rusty.

Rear subframe was painted with polyurethane paint. New bushes were installed, with adjustable D2 racing rear camber arms.

Front end assembly (later my friend needed new wishbones so I sold them to him... and becouse I was without wishbones... I got idea to buy E46 front wishbones... and... I did... aaaand it's ridiculous )

Excentric bushes (sold them with wishbones - have to order new pair)

I can't say anything... that's a nice setup... but not for me

But now...you're getting on hell of an update.

    Enjoy.

Rolled the fenders up... latter to be cut... you will get to see why.

    I got these and these

Cleaned steering rack, with new outer and inner tie rods (later tie rods are gonna be mod'ed)

    Freshened up front hubs

I just had to cut the subframe and move back for 2-3 cm. But It still doesn't clear the hood and it's still too far in the front. And of course you have to manufacture the engine brakets/mounts to bolt it down on the body not subframe. Steering column is in the way of the exhaust manifolds, etc. etc.

I think the better engine to use is N62B45, more then M60B40.

That's why I'll put M50B25 in it for now, while Im looking for N62. N62 has an oil pick up in the back of the sump (in E65 7er) and in the middle in X5. Only way to to it with M60 is to dry sump it.

    Finished P&P pictures, soon.

For now I can show you my Powerflex rear trailing arm bushes I got from UK. Bushes on my new daily E36 318iS Coupe were busted all the way. The ride is VERY unstable, car is moving left to right... inpossible to drive it, so it's in my workshop now. But I got my bushes so it's gonna be on the road soon.
