I vote a spacer... and maybe its just the angle, but to me the wheels look too small for that well. Ill reserve judgment until I see a proper picture; Im all for updates though.

That is so awesome of a car i love old Mercedes. My friends grandpa had a 79 v8 huge boat of a car it was amazing.. would have loved to bag and drop that thing it was super classic. We would drive it down to point pleasant to go fishing. That's it im going to find another one its project time..

I haven’t driven my car in about a month now, such a bummer but we are about a week away from having a baby over here, so for now the car sits, on jack stands, in the garage. The oil pan is leaking, the spring pockets and control arms up front are getting grounded down to make some more bag clearance, and I’m fabrication some shock mounts. No real pictures to report.

Came across this build researching the autopilot v2 and have hit the jackpot for all my questions.. I am building a w114/5 and am planning to run SS6's all corners.
Any regrets or suggestions on the setup as you run atm? Im very interested in some more detail about the mods at the front required for more clearance.
I guess my main question would be what sort of pressures do you run at ride height and also what is required to top the bags out?
Also all the best with the new family member!!Last edited by niscort; 11-01-2012, 03:54 PM.
