thanks everyone, I can wait to see the wheels on the car either, test fitted one on the front this morning:

and they fit great up front, the wheels are 16x9 et33 5x120.65 with a 25.4mm adapter in the front, I'm going to go with 195/40-16 in the front once the wife allows me to.

also am going to have to roll the fenders, just haven't got around to it yet:

New wheels are sweet and expensive and wide and meshy and whatnot but...

I really really love the stock ones with the white walls.

Cheers , there's many ways I've seen it done but wanted to do some research into other ways before I start drilling

Well. As everyone has said, once again I want bags for my w115.

Mine is currently sitting in a bar parking lot with the gorilla knob broken off from trying to start it. But I still love it. I probably always will love it.

Yours looks great man. I wish I had gotten a 114 because of the bumpers and little aesthetic changes. I also really dig the 108 steering wheel. One of my favorite options for these cars.

im just wondering though how have you attached your rear upper bag cups to the bottom of the floor , did you have it bolted onto to the pre existing spring mount ?

it's an upper bag plate welded to a 1" long 5" od pipe. there is a 7/16" nut welded to the top of the bag plate and then a threaded rod threw the upper shock mount location,bushing,washer,nut......i think.
