Tuesday was my birthday. What did I want to do on my birthday? I wanted to cruise in the Benz with my friends and go get some dinner followed by a little pool party action. So we finished up my flame thrower Monday night and Tuesday afternoon we all loaded up in ole Carl and headed for the Vortex in Little Five Points.

Buuuuuuuut we didn't make it out of Conyers. We stopped in town to wait for my girl friend to meet up with us and noticed a huge puddle under the car. SHIT! Turns out it was just a busted fitting going into the heater core so we bypassed that beasty with a quickness and got on our way.

Ignore the trash bag. I was having some window switch issues and it was starting to rain a little.
Girlfriend spy shot from her bug lol

Once we finally got back on the road everything went smooth. I thoroughly enjoyed rolling down I20 watching people change lanes to get away from my fireballs haha Good times were had by all.

The we hit a effing tropical monsoon hurricane 10 minutes after we got rolling WITH WINDOWS THAT WOULDN'T ROLL BACK UP

Which actually turned out to not be so bad. With all four windows down cruising at 75ish in all that rain we stayed dry as a menopausal woman's vagina in the desert. Just another reason for me to now love this car. Then as we were about one mile from our exit the rain stopped completely. We made it to the vortex dry and safe without the car spontaneously bursting into flames, which I truly expected to happen the way the night was going.

The car got a ton of attention all night and I was pretty proud to say it was mine. So after a good time at dinner with everyone we decided it was time to hit the store, grab some party tools, and head back toward town to do some swimming. Awesome, no problem, the ride home should be great, the car is running perfect, BAM!!! What was that? Why is the car smoking? What's that trail behind us? Are you kidding me?

ugh...
We made it about 2 miles down the road before jumping a freaking giant speed bump looking hump in the road that proceeded to rip the back of my oil pan off. So at 11pm I start making phone calls in hopes one of my friends with a trailer would be awake.
None of them answered...
So I had to call my old man. Which was really the last thing I wanted to do. After a long speech about how I shouldn't lower my cars, and if they were supposed to be that low they would come that way, and I need to raise it back up as soon as I fixed it because it doesn't even look good that way... He agreed to come get us. So we sat on the side of a mildly sketchy ass road with captain sketch pants himself running around the parking lot punching things and yelling at cops and asking my girlfriend if she was a prostitute (things almost got quite ugly actually) until 1am when my dad finally got there. And the story just keeps getting longer but I'll cut it down to this, his trailer supports lowered cars just as much as he does. Negative. So it took about an hour with comealongs, 4x4 posts, jacks, and lots of fineness, but we finally got it on there and made it home. So now it back over and the shop waiting for me to fix the pan since it seems so hard to find a new one.

And that is the story of my birthday. My car is broken, but it still does this

I hope everyone had a good 4th. I'll have some major updates really soon I hope.
