I'm almost finished with the drivers side exhaust after last night. I actually remembered to take some pictures this time so here you go.
To start I cut a 25" cherry bomb in half
Then I made a cap for that out of a street sign.
Along with some 2" pipe to extend the core out through the cap.
Cut a hole in the inner fender.
9" slash cut in 3.5" pipe for the tip
Tapped up the fender and started pulling measurements.
Let my old man make the cut since he's a master with tin snips haha
Test fitting
Found a happy spot.
And stopped right here.
And if you haven't caught on yet... Almost everything I have built for this car has been out of scrap metal and pipe or whatever I have laying around the shop. It's not a rat rod, but i'm building it with that mentality by buying nothing that I can make out of something else. That's why all my pipe is miss matched. So there's that...
