Sooo... My weekend started early on Thursday afternoon when I finished up my axles and I decided I should probably drive the car all day Friday before I attempted another hour and a half drive Saturday morning to 4ngie fest in hopes of soothing the beast that lives within it's rusty carcass. To my surprise, 50 miles later the car was one still in one piece and running strong. No popping, crackling, grinding, or spontaneous combustion. I think maybe for once I truly may be in the clear.



I still have a few things in the forecast though so I shot over to the shop Friday afternoon and got busy. I went ahead and removed the front sway bar which was binding and holding the car up almost a full inch. I also trimmed down the rear coils a hair to keep the rake from being overkill. The rear wasn't sitting level either which was bothering the ever living shit out of me so I handled that as well. The big accomplishment was welding in a 3/16 steel skid plate to ease my mind a bit. It sounds so ridiculous when it hits the ground. Kind of like your annoying little kid that you didn't want, but ended up with anyway when you knocked up that chick in high school, beating on a big pot with a sledge hammer. It's amazing.







Yes I know it's a little narrow, but seeing as it was a piece of scrap metal that was laying on the floor... well it's good enough. I thought lol More on that later.



So we messed with the Integra project for a few minutes then went out and partied for my friends birthday for the rest of the the night which ended like this



We pretty much had to drag him out of the pool house and up to his room, but i'm getting sidetracked here.

Got up Saturday morning and got ready to roll out. The drive up was pretty uneventful, boring,AND TROUBLE FREE MOTHER FUCKERS!!!!









Except for the part where my skid plate knocked a new hole in my oil pan. I didn't realize it until we made it to the meet though so it totally doesn't count. The meet wasn't anything spectacular, but I had a killer time with my good friends, met some e-friends, and made a few new friends which is why I do this crap in the first place.

After the meet I dumped a quart of oil in the car and we headed for the house, blowing fire the whole way.

Also now that the sway bar is gone I discovered that I can do this



GUESS WHAT YOU STUPID CAR?! I MADE IT ON A TRIP AAANNNNDDD RETURNED HOME WITHOUT YOU RUINING MY DAY! SO SUCK IT! And now if all goes well, aside from maintenance, my next updates will be fancy suspension things and I know how you all like fancy suspension things.
