congrats on the feature. the car looks great with the new wheels and was the icing on the cake. as i said before, the car pulls off the US bumpers so well.

Snagged 2 Corbeau seats on the cheap. Made some brackets and got one installed tonight. Ill toss up some pics soon.

so all in all, how is the ride quality? Have any pics of the height that you drive it at? Just curious.

Spent about 1400$ after all the small home depot runs and shit. Very affordable. And thanks man! Really appreciate it. Good luck with the 2002, we've been trying to track one down forever.

Yesterday sucked. Timing belt snapped so motor=toast. Car is going back into storage until winter break when I have some time to yank the M20 and toss the M50 in. Gonna pick up an M50 to rebuild in the mean time when I have some free time.

Sucks it won't make it to H20 this year but to be honest I'm glad it happened yesterday and not on the 10 hour drive. Ill still be there in the MK4 though.

Snagged another timing belt, took the valve cover off, head is trashed. Going to pick up another head and get the car running, I miss driving it.

Then comes the M50.

Good to hear, that is very affordable considering the cost to set up a decent set of coils for these cars. I just picked up a '91 318is as a daily and I'm thinking about bagging it after doing some research and realizing it wouldn't cost me too much more. I think I'm gonna go the bag-over-coil with an Aero Sport bag route for the front though and just shorten the housings and throw some IX Billies on it.

Sorry to hear about the timing belt, I guess it's a good excuse to swap in the M50 though. I had a timing belt fail on me on a 1.8t MKIV a few years back and that sucked.

For sure, they Aero Sports would save you a nice chunk of money as well.

Got the car running again. Scooped a head of R3V, new head gasket, head bolts, timing belt, water pump etc. Will be going into storage this winter while I put together an M50 stroker. Just wanted it to be drivable so I can enjoy it before winter and for a bit next year before I decide to yank the motor.
