Great read man. Really glad I read your story on the last page and that you shared it. This place we all have a common bond and its the love for our cars. Most of us on here treat them as one of the family. When a family member is down you help build them back up and that what your doing with your car.

DO WORK SONS!
I need to pull the engine to access that broken exhaust stud. So I plan on doing the oil pan which leaves a delicious pancake sized spot of oil in about 1 hour. Mmmm Pancakes.
Also:
Rebuild Shift Linkage
Rear input seal
Transmission mount
New Exhaust Gaskets for Head and Downpipe
New Studs and Nuts for Exhaust Gasket
VR1 20w50
New coolant
Redline MTL to be mixed with 1qt MT90
Paint for the engine block, I plan on prettying the whole thing up while I'm in there.
Many pictures w/ Free Excitement to come

Very inspiring, and it's great to see this in the community. Definitely part of why I love it, and it's awesome to see how much the car means to you. Literally as it was stated already, you gave it a second life. Much props and can't wait to see how this goes!!

BALL SMASHING UPDATE!!!
Work Commencing
Dirty Dirty Reservoir.
Clean them up with Super Clean.
Not much explanation Needed
Hold em Down
I have been soaking them for two days now and they're now perfectly white, like new. Very nice.
Wife brought me pie. <3 wife > pie > you
Going
Oh whats that, an effing loose bellhousing bolt? WTF man?
I raised up the engine not realizing that I wasn't going to clear the garage door. So I played the game of slowly raising the engine and lowering the car at the same time.
Fishing nets are key.
Great success!!!!
Obligatory standing in the engine bay pic.
So tonight will be extracting that bolt, new oil pan gasket. Cleaning, Cleaning, Cleaning, Painting, Cleaning. Pie, Cleaning.

Pie is a very important part of any quality build.

I am also confused wtf is going on I honestly just want to pull the engine to make it nice and pretty. I'm quite sure there is some kind of intake leak happening. So I'll probably pull the manifold and do gaskets.
Love you guys!!!
