  • E28 preparations for the season

Last year i bought this e28 . Cut springs straight away, but it wasn't enough. I bought new shorter shock inserts and coilover springs for front , other parts are custom build. After winter car was repainted, now it more shiny. Wheels are polished , and have new tyres 215/40 r17 before was 225/45 r17. Now im wainting rear springs and shocks. After that i will change engine and many other parts. I doing it slowly because i dont have enough money and time for fast and quality build.

i need new exhaust system, it looks bad , and it is too low.

Looks awesome mate, small incremental build iterations are my preferred way of doing things, not because of money just because it phases it out more. Is this your daily?

Labi, vēl kāds "savējais". Plāns izcils, saprotot objektīvi visas iespējas kaut ko tādu attīstīt, novēlu veiksmi un pacietību.
So that I would not alienate the StanceWorks forum with latvian language: This looks like a great project build, had the same exact idea about buying and Stanc'ing a e28. They are really hard to find in an approvable condition in our country. Hope to be quite inspired by this project, love the foundation!.

Yes PLEASE more details on the strut inserts, and how you made those coilovers in general. They look amazing.

Your car is pretty classy as well, I like.

my coilovers costs me 350$. My friends have metalworking lathe , i bought metal tube with inner dia of e28 strut , they done thread on this tube and 2 plates. Very easy. May be tomorow i will go to paint may struts and i will take picture of the parts. Soon i will build rear shorter coilovers, now im lookin for the parts. Trying to find good idea.
