So.. Long time no see :-)
But there is some good news.. I decided to play around a little bit with the 650...
First, some new wheels.. Yep they are budget wheels (from you polish guys), but didnt see them on any other car here yet, 20x9.5 and 20x11, effective et 10 on front and 0 on back. 245/45 r20, quite a bit of stretch on rears :-)
Yea its high as fuck i know :-D
The good news is, that some eibach pro kit springs are on the way (yep, again from poland :-D) and they should be fitted next week i hope and adjusted (by yours truly: sawblade :-D) to make the fenders clearing the tires..
Also all the chrome stuff will go to black gloss and ugly window tint will go in trash.
Meanwhile, some exhaust fiddling for some outstanding v8 noise..

(Dont know why this video doesnt work :-/ but there are some flyby sounds..)
Also next bits are some front spoiler and rear trunk spoiler..:-) that should be good enough for daily.
And since i am working on getting a house in past few weeks that will eat a lot of budget, so my cheap stance project might be delayed ..:-/
Thats it for now :-)

Hey thanks for the reply.
I did some research and it seems like there are some people that had trouble with
their cars being vandalized with sharpies. And it seems like toothpaste removes the sharpie quite well according to some youtube videos. So might have a go at some doodling with sharpie on my car.
Cheers and look forward to your next project !

Hey,
thanks ;-)
the sharpie, well, it went after a winter a little dull, faded out a little, but that wasnt very big issue, it still looked good.. after around a year I sold the bumper as is, so I dont really know how can you remove it, but its quite lasting paint in the sharpie (oil based probably?), so it might be hard to remove..
and I didnt do anything to it, just sharpie on car paint.. if you clear coated it, that might last a lot longer, but you wouldnt be able to remove it at all..

Sharpie Art
Hey man your build is awesome !
And looking forward to your next project.
I have a silver e46 sedan and i am really digging that sharpie art.
I like drawing and I have a couple of ideas on what i can do with sharpie.
I was just wondering how long sharpie lasted on the car ? and did you do anything to it other than just drawing on the car ? and is it removable without damaging the paint when you get sick of it ?
Cheers

thanks guys..
unfortunately car is sold, I wanted some different ride :-) so I bought 4 months ago this beauty
the car is 2007 650i with quite nice extras, but will stay stock, will cut the exhaust and maybe some 20" wheels with springs (dont want to fuck up the dynamic drive suspension, its awesome), but thats it.. new project car should be comming next year :-) if everything goes well..

Just found this thread and had a quick flick through all the pages, I wasn't too keen on the red wheels but man that iron man front bumper was an amazing touch. Although I must say the current state of your car is absolutely perfect, and both the kit and the wheels look amazing, love it!
