Since this post, I ended up having to replace the factory pneumatic compensator and spring for the static compensating spring on the diff. I cut 3 coils in the rear, 1.75 off the compensating spring and like 2.75 off the fronts. If I cut anymore than 3 in the rear, the springs will fall out when I jack the car up

I will own one of these one day! Loving the colour too, nice work man.

damn, the car is looking good man, i only did 2 in the front and 1.75 in the rear and it got me to this:

I need to bring the front down some more. Is your steering vibrating at all with your new low?

So being impatient and hoping to have air ride i went ahead and chopped 3 coils out of the from, like 2 in the rear. I also cut the bump stops in half. Hella smart right!? the car is still very drivable not to bouncy rubs like mad when turning in parking lots but I'm in love with these old Mercs! It's great having such a positive community of knowledgeable and helpful people on forums like this too.

Rolling static on Country roads in a 40 year old car has me replacing a lot of rubber bushings, and assorted suspension components. Looking for suggestions on air bag setups (cups, what bags, etc..) any help would be mucho appreciated.
