  • Dirty Girl, My 240.

    I've been lurking this forum for a while now, finally decided it was time to post. I go through cars like I do socks, but I think I finally found one I'm going too keep. Well, I'm going to keep some of it...

    After a small hiatus from anything automotive related I was offered a deal I couldn't pass up. I spent my day driving the states of WV, OH, and KY to get everything finalized for the trade, and this is what I ended up with...




    This was right after picking it up. The car itself is not the prettiest of things, but that wasn't the good part of the deal...



    THIS is the good part. Pretty decent up trade from a neon, haha.

    The motor was built by JGY in VA. It is currently untuned, but the guys at Dynosty in KY will be taking care of that in the next few weeks. I'm shooting for 500whp on pump gas.

    I saw the first picture with the hood up and got excited haha I knew it had something going on with an sr and a bigger turbo on a top mount. Looks like a great start!

      When i first seen the car is was like .. umm yuck.Then, i seen the motor and i was like OH.MY.GOSH

        Haha, it's definitely nothing to look at right now. I'm hoping to have everything done within 2 months...we'll see how that goes. Haha

            That sr! The engine more then makes up for how ugly the car is right now. Can't wait until it gets better.

                Thanks guys! Pretty big update, I've had an e30 for about a year now, and it's in need of an engine. I think I may have found my swap candidate. It's just an idea right now, but we'll see how it goes...

                    Started tearing the car apart. Hopefully have the M42 out this week.

                        I know you traded for the 240, but what was the guy asking? Thats a hell of a motor setup in a 240!

                              Going to get this thing tuned on the 11th so I can at least enjoy something until the e30 is ready for the transplant. I'm going to do what I can with that poor 240, haha.
