Hello, I am black man and this is my car.
I REFUSE to rock the same wheels on my E30 that everyone else has (Borbet A, BBS RS) no matter how good it looks.I also have a bad habbit of buying wheels and then never putting them on the car (16x9 Corvette salad shooter, 16x8 CSA Diplomats). So I picked up Some trashed 16x8 ET34 Mercedes Cosworth wheels and with a little bondo & Ivory paint I was able to do this.
Then I ordered some 30mm Adapter from Adaptec Speedware which arrived today so here are some mock-up shots!!!
I bought the car bone stock with 106k on the clock back in March of 2010, since then I have done the following.
5 speed swap
Head gasket
All oil seals
Coolant Hoses
Interior swap from black to beige (I am switching to grey plaid soon)
LED Interior, trunk and license plate lights
Caliper Rebuild
Ceramic Pads
H&R sport Springs
Control Arms
E30 M3 offset bushings
I have poly trailing arm bushings that need to go in soon
Exhaust hangers
Spark Plugs
Cold Air Intake
Center Support Bearing
PHC Valeo Friction Disc
Sachs Pressure Plate
Timing Belt
Coolant Cap Seals
Drivers Lock Rebuild
Euro Intensive Headlamp Washers
I have bought many M50s but none of them have ever made it into my car but I picked up a low mileage one for $100 including the harness. And I will be doing the following.
M50 block/head
M52 2.8 pistons, crank and rods
Individual Throttle Bodies from the older K75/K100 BMW Motorcycles 'cause they use the same Throttle Position Sensor.
S54 Intake
E39 540 MAF
M54b30 intake cam with 4mm shaved off from gear
M50 Non Vanos Intake cam will be ran on the exhaust side.
S54 Oil lifter housing with aftermarket oil cooler.
Im also gonna run coilovers because the H&R sports are too soft.
Some cleaned up parts.
I bought an engine stand 3 month ago but I just purchased longer bolts to hold it up since the stock tranny ones are too short
Warped S50 head in my room that I turned into a planter lol.
Having Fun doing the headgasket/tranny swap.
me
And my buddies who help me out SOOO much!
My e30 driving buddies Tom and Tiago.
Current Look
My well drawn exhaust plans (and I was going to art school lol)
