well i sold my calypso e34, about 2 weeks ago. i was itching to do a Ls400, but for some reason cant seem to let go of BMW, 5ers to be exact. so i picked up this 97 E39 from springfield Mass, last night. hopefully itll be lowered on monday of next weeks when coils arrive, and when the new wheels arrive too. but unitl then have some maintenance to take care of ( any e39 owners will tell, they need TLC in the cooling department to truly be enjoyed)

no reason really, i jus like the e39 more . plus its a roomier platform and no worries for oil pan hitting or anything

well on the 2nd day of owning her the infamous KEY TUMBLER died, and anyone that has dealt with that knows its truly a BITCH. so instead of waiting 5 days and $180 from the stealer, i just bought a whole new steering column form a junk yard for $130, and as always nothing went according to plan

they came form the same model and year, yet they varied in everyway possible except for the materials

then i had no turn signals or wiper motion, so it was back to the board, and found that the plugs were different and worthless so had to epoxy glue the old controls onto the new column and cut out the new column metal bracket to allow to the plugs to go in the back

anyways its not much of a stance update but thatll be FRIDAY or if your in CT at the staggered show on sunday
