Well I haven't been able to drive the car for a while, I thought the alternator went out and in the process of replacing it I found out that the main lead to the alternator had disintegrated from the engine harness, the thing was completely toast. So I ripped the harness out and sourced a new one from Dave Barton, he makes brand new harnesses for these old Volvos and worked with me to adapt his 1979 harness for mine, super helpful dude! Anywho, while it was sitting I decided to clean up the engine bay a little and paint some things, I should have it all back together tomorrow!
sprayed it crinkle black
sanded off the lettering, ready to go!
put it back on and then started cleaning the bay and block a little bit
then moved onto the intake manifold
and thats where I left off today, gonna get the harness and intake installed tomorrow and it should be good to go!

I got it all back together today, ran the new harness, got everything reinstalled, and got it on the charger. When I went to start it, it turned over but wouldn't start, got out and saw that the fuel line was soaked...so now I have to remove the intake manifold again to replace the fuel linebut at least it looks better now
