It's always encouraging to see people excited about my little red wagon haha And yea I'm very familiar with IPD, I got all of my poly bushings from them and plan on "unveiling" the car at their huge garage sale/car show this next May! RSI and IPD are basically the only Volvo performance shops around and they both happen to be in my town, pretty convenientOriginally posted by AKToyotaluv View Postedit: the website is called ipdusa, actually based in Oregon. Good Luck!

And just in case any other Volvo guys are following the build, here's a handy dandy little spreadsheet I made at the beginning of the project to help keep me on track. Some things I got from buddies of mine, some I got from shops, some things I got on sale, and some I got from junkyards, but this will basically give you a run down of everything you need to get your Volvo more grounded

yessir you are welcome, becuz when I was up in Alaska I had owned a 1987 240 DL wagon and the owner when I traded my 89 Camry wagon for the Volvo gave me insight to check out ipdusa, so's I thought I would pass it on lol, I'm in love with those rolling bricks, Sub'dOriginally posted by GroceryGetter67 View PostThanks man! haha they just need old lady names, it's a rule!Originally posted by AKToyotaluv View Posthaha beautiful name, I believe my Volvo was dubbed Agnes.
I went with RSI because it was a little cheaper for the rear springs and perches and the shortened Billy HD struts for the fronts came with a machined gland nut for the Volvo strut housings. It was honestly such a huge pain in the ass though, I ordered them May 20th and they gave me the run around for over 6 months, telling me every single time I called (which was close to 10 or 15 times) that "oh yea they're just getting done and it will be a couple days more" and I didn't get them to my door until Dec. 1st. Part of the problem of not having a big aftermarket for Volvo stuff I guess...Originally posted by Z33_Taxi View Postwhy'd you go RSI over Kaphlenke?1976 Volvo 245 Build

The problem with RSI is that they bite off more than they can chew most of the time. I just got my stuff a couple of weeks ago, too, but I ordered in the beginning of April. I'll probably buy from them again if they have the parts sitting on the shelf ready to go out.
Also, your car is looking really good and seems to be coming together well. Makes me want to get my GTA's finished.'88 Volvo 745 Turbo
