Yea the audio is pretty beast mode. Even on the highway windows down I can get bass feel out of it. 800w isn't too shabby.

      I'm rocking the 12W6...

you sealed or ported? in the Smartcar in your sig?! I'm sure you can feel a 10W7... sheesh

Edit: found your build... so much for trunk space... I'm sure you can feel that thing sitting right at your back and ported and 600 W going to it..? I dont remember if the 900x5 is 75x4 600x1 or 100x4 500x1.... either way plenty of power in that tiny human space

        Prelim shot of current stance...

Things to come soon, a bit of paint tomorrow that I cracked rolling front pass fender, the two ACS pieces that are finally in will be done to and mounted soon.

Motion Motorsports Underpanel is coming soon so I can reinforce my bumper some, and an aluminum "skid plate" addition to my x-brace since its scraping already.

In the next month or so, I will be getting new tires, 452's. And refinishing the wheels. But that will be after May 12th since I dont have time to get them done before then and there is a show I want to be at.

After paint and mounting those two new pieces I'll be getting a real shoot done, instead of just post a good wash.

tips are bad I know... thats why I said they are horrid originally... going to have them redone hopefully in the next week or two (work allowing). Found a co-worker with a welder that said he'd help. Just gotta take it off the car and buy him a case. Ha

did a little building for my build thread today... also got the ACS pieces painted right before I had to run to work. Pictures soon.

I may not have to worry about flooding... but damnit if its not a pain in the ass

                    Wheel story:

                    They arrive at home:

(I'll input some photos here later when I get home, I forgot to host them before I came into work this morning)

                    It begins:

(Insert photos of tire removal and disassembly here)

Took the centers off to a local Powder Coating place: J&J Powder Coating. They were refered to me by 3-4 different people from different circles, so I figure if their name is that known they have to be the best in the area. They will be coming back fresh with "Vegas Nutmeg", you'll have to use your imagination for now.

                    Stripping:

I finally got around to stripping the barrels for polish etc. They came to me with the inner barrels covered black, which I didnt want. I have a black car so I figure the wheels could be light to help add some contrast, here is what I got so far.

                    A little cleaner:

Drying a bit before stripper is applied:

                    Stripping:

Confirmed during this process, one of my rear barrels was from a different set of wheels. Not only was the black a little different on the barrel, but the nuts had no washers and there was no "OZ Racing" sticker on the lip. Turns out the barrel had black Powder coat in it from a PO. Guess it'll have to go get blasted...

Powder coats "meh face" to my paint stripper:

After first coat of stripper this is what I got:

Applied a second coat, and got the rest of it off the inner barrels for the three, apparently I forgot to take photos of them after. Will grab some next time I work on them.

Flipped them over to get the clear off the lips:

                    As they sit now:

                    Some of the "aftermath":

I'll update at more progress is made. Plan is to have the inner barrels silver, mirror polished lips, and "Vegas Nutmeg" centers. I'm just glad the 100+degree days broke so working outside was bearable.

Definitely ready for these to get done some I can get my car off the stands and back on the road.

                    Thanks for checking it out.

So I finally got the wheels finished and was out for a spin for a local Cars and Coffee and remembered my camera. Took a few shots while I was out and about but didnt go anywhere special because the car still isnt dialed in, but its getting there.

                          New items:
BC Coils (with plenty of room)
OZ racing Mito Type III 17x8.5 et 13ish, 17x9.5 et 13ish
                          Falken 452 205/40, 235/40
                          ACS roof spoiler
                          ACS rear diffuser

PO of the rims said rears were 10's so I ordered tires for 10's. When I dismounted the shot tires, turns out they're 9.5's so the current tire is meaty, which caused major rubbing issues and so I now must get new tires and had to raise the rear for the time being.

                          High priority plans:
                          215/45 rear tires
                          Stiffer springs
BBS front lip (for more clearance and awesomeness)
                          Moar lowz

I'm no photographer, I just have a nice camera...

                          Enough blabbing:

                          Out and about:

                          Post waxing manditory driveway shots:

                          .

Yea I know they look like . Just found out a buddy has a tig welder and trying to coordinate with him to get them removed and redone... lets not focus on them, kthx.

It's good to see progress builds like this. Can't wait to see it with the proper tire sizes and down low.

plans is hopefully to get 1/2" out of the front, and 1 1/2" outta the rear still with proper springs/tires, and lip swap.

I like this. Body looks really clean. I'd throw some 205/40's on the rear but that's just me. Looking forward to seeing this lower. You going to add any camber?
