Here are some updated pictures of shenanigans and a little roof rack renewal.
I had decided that the stupid cheap roof rack slats that were on the rack when i bought it had to go. So i made some new rich mahogany ones and replaced the slats. Needless to say it sucked majorly pulling a bunch of rusty allen screws out. All-in-all im happy with the outcome.

Ha! thanks a lot guys, as for the blow through setup it makes cool noises also the challenge of doing it. Im using a stock bodied carb with quite a few little tricks i have picked up over time. I have also found that blow trough is quite a bit more efficient and cost effective, mainly because of having to run a carbon seal and prep the turbo for the fuel it will be sucking in. Also the ability to use a readily available intake/carb setup rather than having a special log manifold made specifically for a draw through application saves time and looks a lot cleaner. You will note mine isnt very clean as far as the engine aesthetics go but that is because i kinda wanted it to look ridiculous. By relocationg the exhaust back a few inches and running a more suitable exhaust outlet i could close the decklid with minimal prop on the lid.Join the dark side:The Boog Build Thread

Alright, thanks for the info man!
I've been contemplating building a turbo bug for years, but I've always thought a suck through would be easier and cheaper. Mainly because you wouldn't need a bov. But I guess a blow through is pretty cheap.
I recently found this book from the 70's at my grandfathers house about building turbo motors and they are almost all suck through's with su carbs lol.
