I wasnt looking for a car, and if I did buy one it was going to be another 80 TDI avant.
But you know when you start cruising the web ads just for the crack..
And you see somthing that fits- you always wanted one, right price right car ect..
Resulting in a day off work, a grin you can't control and a long but pleasant road trip down south ( new forest).
Well I once had a 90 coupe quattro and loved it, but back then it was easy to find another. 10 yrs passed and scrap scheme, time ect and there doesn't seem to be many left. Plenty coupes even a few s2s but I want a 90 B3, not a B4.
B3= cool wood, velour seats, sexy front end and a 5 pot.
Front drive prefered, becuse this will stop me wanting to fit an S2 engine, (i just want a car not project - 944 is for that.)
So what I found was a very clean solid black 90 coupe 10v non quattro with a full stainless, bilsteins, dark velour and 18" khans (not for long!)
I like this car a lot, I just want to go out in it all the time and I havent had that feeling for years!
So far its just had a polish, orange indicators and an audi sport steering wheel.
Plans are a drop and some gold spoke BBS.
I want it in decent factory order and well serviced.
Its got a cold running prob to sort first, then the fun.
