whatre you planning to do to the motor?

and how will you be mounting it in there? with custom made mounts or is there a company that makes them for the small block chevy?

youll probably want to put a set of heads on it then, and put a decent sized cam in it too, a 400 with stock heads and cam only makes about 220-230hp. and when you put heads on it make sure you drill steam holes in them or it will overheat.

The vehicel was swapped before he bought it. The ehaust mani is stock with some universal exhaust piping that connects to the stock exhaust after the cat. The mounts are custom pieces of crap.. We're still in the middle of redesigning it.

i decided to redo the motor before it goes in i have just purchased edlebrock chrome valve covers, edelbrock chrome water pump, edelbrock torker II intake manifold, rochester quadrajet carb, chrome valve breather vents, chrome valve cover spreader bars and "T" bolts, accel shorty spark plugs, accel distributor and wires, and also purchased block hugger headers.
