Hey y'all. I'm Geoff, 16, and own a 1979 Datsun 280zx. Been working on it since I was 14, but didn't really have big plans for it. recently had a head job, and new headers, but they'll all eventually be replaced.

Exterior is in decent condition, with no severe rust. One fender is dented and Madhatter and I have begun to bang it back out.

Interior is in the process of being stripped. It currently has no carpets.

Engine is the stock L28E (single over head cams, Cast iron block, and aluminum headers, electrically fuel injected, non-turbo). But I have big plans for it. Current lineup for possible engines are VK56DE (Nissan Titan) VQ35DE (Nissan 350z) and, the Godzilla engine, RB26DETT (Nissan Skyline)

Haven't registered with a picture hosting site yet, and I'll post pictures as soon as I've done that.

Alright! Got them photos on Photobucket.
Got all the carpets and seats out. Speakers are gone, and I'm going to begin getting the rest of the trim out. I may take out the armrest in the middle out.


No rust! So excited about that.

I don't really like the front bumper styling on the S130. I preferred the styling on the S30 much better. Basically, the S30 had no 5mph front bumper, so, I removed it!

When I bought it, it had a perfect body, but during an accident when the wheel came off, I dented the right side fender, so that's removed too.


Years ago, my father and I got the engine down to the block, got a head job, and replaced the spark plug wires. The green ones are the new ones. Here's the engine.
