  • BMW 320 e36 -96

    Well hello there!

This is my first ever in mankind history build thread and im going to build this thread from the ground LAWL well enough of that shit im going to showcase my car mostly (maybe?) and the car im speaking about is a BMW 320 e36 1996 bought as a snowskid car but then i saw how beautiful e36s are and decided to try and make it a stanceautomobile.

I have scoped around on this side for a long time so i go the hang of the stance style i have also looked at what we in sweden call "tyskstuk" i think its called germanstyle in english which is a kind of stance and almost always yellow film on the headlamps!

I have only one small problem which is (i think most of everyone has this problem) i dont have any money and i dont know if im going to build on this car or save up and buy a E3 3.0 and make this thread about that one instead! But they are expensive as most of you might have noticed...

So i shall begin with this car for a while

ENOUGH OF THIS USELESS TEXT here is what not all of you but some might have wanted or maybe not lol!

It's completly stock if some of you haven't noticed yet!

So one of the first thing i did was thinking that it sounded too little? SPELLING LEVEL ENOURMOUS ( im swede that's y spelling sucks! )
    Well well
i started off by cutting off the rear muffler (back box? it has many names!)
then i replaced them with some STRAIGHT PIPES

now it sounds like a fucking race car and i can wake my neighbourghs even faster!
then i wanted to stickerbomb it but i didnt have any stickers! (firstworld problem! )
so i made one on my own this is how it looks

the +1hk stands for "+ 1 hästkräftor" which means in english +1horseshrimp and in normal language you could say +1hp i guessed that my "sport" system would give so much hp
and the stupid pipe started to rust after a while, as you may have noticed, i thought the shitty pipe would be stainless! BUT NOOO OF COURSE IT IS COMMON PEASENT STEEL!

well well here is a picture of the building of the straight pipe

i had plans for making some bosozoku style on the car but i didnt have enough peasentpipe
    here the looks of it

well thats most of my shananagans ( i dont know if its spelled that way? ) for now
oh wait i tried to do a burnout with the beemer and it TOTALLY WORKED :P

see it did it with both wheels lol! didnt want to kill the car so i took it easy that's why there's not so much rubber on the ground

Well im going to save and work to get some cash so i can BUY COILS and some wheels would be nice too

    over'n'out

i might have got hold of some wheels but now i'm wondering if they fit

they look like this (not actual rims on the picture)

and they are from a BMW 5-series E39, i know that the E39 has 74.1 in the center and 5/120 just as E36 but i dont know what the measure in the center is, on the E34 it is 72,5 i think but is it the same on the E36? anybody know?
    -.-

The E36 has 72.5mm centre bore, you need spigot rings to fit those E39 wheels.

K i think i know what you mean i've encountered a similar problem with wheels from a E34 trying to pry them on to a E39 had to leave them at a mechanical shop where they "peeled" of some aluminium in the middle so they fitted the E39
            -.-

To run the e39 wheels you'll probably also wil have to run 15mm spacers to get them on e36 standard ET value.

Are you sure you know what youre talking about ? e39 rims are et20, e36 should ride on rims that have about et35. If you put 15mm spacers between e39 rims that you fit on an e36
than the offset is 5 !!!! not 35
