I'm happy to report that I haven't had to notch yet. I only slap frame occasionally lol.

    And yes, 205/40's.

nice, we have the same tire/wheel setup. I have 3" blocks, probably going to redrill, and possibly mono leaf, but i worried about riding the frame.

From what I hear, monoleaf is a terrible idea.

if you take in everyone's opinions, everything you can do to a mini truck is a bad idea. Its only a temporary thing til i can order the drop leafs, or weld a 4 link in there and do a crazy coilover setup.

Let me also rephrase myself, i will pull the middle leaf, not both. I actually wouldnt mind clamping the over load to the main to add to the spring rate, that way its not just floating on one leaf all day long. My only concern is railing my frame with the axle constantly. And driveshaft shimmy.

I think I have driveshaft shimmy or something. It only happens in first gear when taking off. It doesn't seem to hurt anything so I haven't been bothered to investigate it more.

Someone find me tan bucket seats in the northeast Texas area. I don't care what they fit, they just have to be small enough to go in the truck. I am out of ideas haha

I got the spacers put on last night. Not a huge change, but for the price, worth it.

                        • I'm enjoying this build. These things are so affordable to drop and modify, haha. Have you looked into lowering leaf springs? I'm pretty sure they make them for a hardbody, I have some on my Isuzu. I picked mine up new around 100 shipped, very lucky. But they normally drop around 3", and have a lot of ride quality and weight support. I run those with blocks too. 7" of rear drop \m/. Air shocks are another cheap investment. 70 bucks and with any air compressor get a few inches of lift if you ever need to carry anything or want to get it off the axle. I notched mine.
The only thing lower than my standards is my truck.

                          Build thread!!!

                          • Thanks! They are definitely wallet-friendly. I'll probably just stick with the current setup that I have for now. It works and I haven't heard enough good things about the Belltech springs to justify the money.
