was thinking of picking up an f1.8 50mm from canon when i'm out most days to uni (have a habit of now keeping the camera with me)

been eyeing up the 17-40 f4 L as my next lens but could also do with a pair of wheels for the front!

I was messing with one of these at work a while back, they have the potential to be really cool! Is that the lowest the kw's go?

I measured it up for wheels while I had it in the air, and 8.5 and 10's fit perfect. With a bigger drop I would say go for 15's, but if that's all the way down you might need to stick with the 17's.

the kw's can go a little lower at the front, but truthfully, I'\ve got a steep drive to get up and already scrap at this height.

New front lips from Merc are far from cheap as well!

I run a set of steels over winter which are 15" but I ideally want to run 17 at all 4 corners with the necessary stretch/poke.

Given that I've already offered up a 17 to the front, it fits nicely and does look a lot better than the 16/17 staggered combo currently on the car.

the brabus ultimate 120 manages to fit 18x7 in the front and 18x8.5 at the rears but i'll stick to the 17x7.5 all round

doesn't help the car being small either!

as for the wheels, will be getting a pair of rears and sticking them on the front leaving me with 17x7.5 at all corners

was driving, lost all drive, pulled over to find grease everywhere. Car had a date with the flatbed.

Will have to see what Mercedes say on monday as the car is still under warranty.
