thanks man, i really appreciate it. this whole process reignited something inside me (i was considering selling it), kinda like that same excitement i had when i bought the car, but x100 lol, i cant stop smiling when im driving this thing now, i feel like a little kid.

anyway, took some better pics after i washed it today and went for a drive. hopefully i can find some smaller tires this week to lay it down again. although the rake is growing on me a little bit...

the lip bugs me with this much rake though, its too low. looks low just for the sake of being low.

update. Finnally got some summer wheels, couldnt pass up on the retro style even if they are reps. 15x7 et0 gotti j55 reps, 3 in pretty good shape. one is a little rough though. ill refinish them next winter.

    Wheels

the stock rear inner fenders werent gonna fly with my plans. time to trim, they werent completely cleaned up at the time of the pic. just wanted to take one before i forgot lol.

    Trimmed

    and voila

well it doesnt sit like it does in the pics above. the rear is about an 1 1/4" higher. the front is the same though. i threw on the 205/60's that i had from my previous set of wheels but they are way to big for how low i wanna run, rears rubbed like crazy, gonna look for some 185/65's im thinking.

also got some gnarly vibrations at 80-90km/h, they are 5x120 but they didnt have hubcentric rings. this is my first non oem set of wheels so i assume thats the culprit.

overall im super happy, once i get some smaller tires ill probably start looking for spacers front and rear

C&C is always welcome, full shoot soon to come

I like where this is going, maybe a bit lower in the front to get rid of the negative rake look caused by the lower wheel arches in the rear.

little update. really need to get my skidplate had a couple close calls (see pic below) but so far so good. ill remove the perches in the front after i build one and drop it down some more.

terrible picture, something almost punched through right beside the drainplug. steel pans ftw.

also rigged up a lip from a sunfire i got for free, im not completely set on it. dont really care though as itll be temporary, i managed to find an iS front fascia and iS rear spoiler for 50 bucks a pop which is great because my current lower fascia is in terrible shape.

    random pic, purdy paint

edit: forgot to mention, im buying those wheels that i posted earlier in the thread this week. no more bottlecaps and balloon tires!

not 100% sure yet, ive been scoping the local classifieds looking for a clean set of 16's, hoping i can find some old weaves for cheap. that will still be a temporary thing. im having a hard time deciding...edit: forgot there were also these, some gotti reps. managed to talk him down to 180. 15x7 et0, im still on the fence but for the price im thinking why not, plus i have tires for them

    hmmm....
