i went with spindles so i could keep decent geometry in the front while having a massive drop. i have a lot less bump steer and more suspension travel than a torsion drop. and thanks for the info on the headers.........Originally posted by metalmonkey47 View PostNice little datto you have there sir.
Just some small input,
that long tube won't fit unless you remove the torsion bar first when mounting (trust me I've tried), and on a truck as low as yours, the header collector's gonna get beat to shit against the frame. Go for a shorty. The L20B will actually lose power with a header in stock form. Also, they tend to leaf like a sonovabitch.
For the rear suspension you can use leaf springs off of a 720 4x4 that have a smaller arch. It'll probably maintain the same ride height (or close) with the stock number of leafs over your 620 leafs with some removed. They bolt right in and are about 2'' lower then stock.
Why modify spindle to drop the front end when you have torsion bars? I'm assuming for the disk brakes? Just curious.
keep it up! Sub'd

If you want more power, look into mating the L20b head to a z24 block.
The 620 already has a lot of the parts needed to do the swap on it.

Thanks a lot man, If I could, I would give you a hug.
My mom had one of these for like 20 something years, thats why I like 620's.
Have you thought about maybe adding different tail lights? I have wanted to put some DMAX s13 coupe tails on a 620.
