Right i've been meaning make one of these for a while now but simply never got round to doing so.
This is my first car, i was originally looking for a Lupo or Arosa which are fairly well known in the car scene here in the uk but then i stumbled over a few Citroen c2's and the rest is history, i finally got my hands on a silver'04 plate with 36,000 on the clock in October 2010. I was a total novice but had enthusiasm and a big collection of fast car magazines, i had decided to go down the clean/Euro route, but then after a while i realised it would cost more than i could bring in.

Being a student i was constantly scrimping by so i decided to run down the OEM+ route first. Black roof Vinyl and lowering springs were on the cards and some Citroen C2 VTR alloys i got for a very good deal which i then refurbed Graphite Grey.

Then i came out of college and got myself an Apprenticeship as a Renewable Energy Engineer and the real car i had hoped for way back when i got her really started coming together. I had way more knowledge and experience than i did when i first set off so it didn't take me long till i knew what i wanted and what i had to do.
My first set of coilovers were on but there was a problem, i then realised why there were so few low c2's. They were designed for when big wheels and bodykits were in fashion, so naturally they come with huge arches to accomodate those big alloys which were now outdated and basically, shit. I knew i needed more lows, i just needed to figure out how to get them.

I found a set of BBS RS reps that would be perfect for the car, mainly because of the offsets and widths, also because i would be one of the first in the UK to run this style of wheel.

They are 16x9j and 16x 8j, which gave me mega stance with no spacers, just a shed load of inner arch work. Got them fitted and here is the outcome, i needed more lows.

I then got some centrecaps for them as they looked bare, here's some more picture whoring,

Then i sourced a new setup which basically is 2 sets of FK coilovers adapted to get a good stance.

And that is where i'm upto today, i'm currently saving for a Mark.5 golf but whos knows what the future holds, i'm not done with my little french car yet.
