  • Oklahoma Leggy Wagon

thought i would take my intro into a build thread since im doing some building finally...

my story starts with my stock 1990 single cam 240sx two years ago
got some 17x9+20 xxrs, a kit, exhaust, blew the single so i swapped in a dual, short shifter
got it looking pretty good..then started to drift it

    BEFORE

    DURING

    ..after..

the kit was pretty much totalled thanks to zipties and cones..and pavement damage

so i started fresh..tails, 5 lug swap, new wheels, and a beaten new lip since i "lost" mine
got a quick release, jdm wood wheel, hids and some other random goodies

then got it somewhat presentable and got rid of the fart can for straight exhaust and dual tips

and had to sell it to pay some bills =[ got a 96 legacy wagon really cheap
modded pretty quickly going from 14x5.5 to 16x6.5 wheels and coils

there alllot more inbetween pics but thats the jist of it..
..oh and i run a blogsite called okstance..thanks for watching :jin:

Aww its a shame that you had to sell the 240 Good to see you picked up a subby wagon and your already doing work to it. I love wagon builds!

              For referrance, here's mine on 17x9.5 +30

I had to pull pretty hard in the rear, fronts too, but it was way easier to make them fit.

IMO, if I could start over, I'd get some wide 16's and run a 45 series tire.

my sterns are 18x8.5+35 so that i may tuck the rears but be wide enough to poke a tiny bit of rim up front

any idea of the camber you are running? and also what tire size is that

ill be running a much smaller tire and i shouldnt have to do much fender work
here is an 18x8.5+45 with 215/35 all around--i MUST be at least this low

Hahaha I'm still looking for a lip for mine!

My tire sizes are 225/45 all around and I'm running factory camber all around. I'm thinking I should probably pull the front fenders some more and drop it down. I'm sick of it sitting so high.

After rolling on these 17's, its stil mind boggling how people pull of 18's on these cars.

Let me know what you figure out for a lip. Mine is just a beater so I'm not down for spending money on it (all in I'm at $900 including the car, coils, wheels, and winter tires) and buying an lgt bumper. DOwn for trying out cheap lips!
