    Opinions are opinions are opinions.
Come on guys you all know there are people out there who think your/our cars are pointless wastes of money but it is YOURS. Don't beat her down for not conforming to your idea of what a proper build should consist of because it is HER build. Let her do her thing, who knows, she might surprise all of you.

Shit, too much "moar lowz lulz rust yo huud yeh yeh" and not enough proper care and concern for a EURO E30... If you're trying to do the eurotrash look, you've probably got more work ahead of you then if you were building a decent looking, clean street E30.

DO NOT think that you can just rust the car and that it will be somehow a quick route to a good looking car. That's the new ricer. (and don't even get me started about what I would give for a rust free E30 in Canada)

Also: hockey pucks for motormounts?? Please build this car properly...go to R3VLimited.com and start over.

lol tags indeed - I think you should help bring the steam/luv for the car/thread again and pose next to it

I've been thinking about a non-running e30 about an hour from my house. All of those e30 popping up on the build thread are making me want to drop the $1k on it. ha

Hey, at least she´s not taking rotas and sticking Volk stickers on them...
They probably just want to give you a little bit of advice, I mean, when you can fetch a good amount of money for those euro-bumpers, why not sell them? Some coin is still better than no coin at all :P
When you want to drift this car, you could buy some spare tires and stuff.

At the end, just do what you want and dont mind the others.

    LMAO at the tags \/\/\/

Post some pics up of the bumpers. Not that you have anything to prove, but show us they're damaged and give us a better idea of the condition of your car.

I understand you want to do what you like and by all means do that, but at the same time I sold just the end caps from my euro bumpers (the part that curves around the sides) without trim for $280. You could put that towards tires or what not. We're just trying to help.

Haha I can't believe it's really bothering you guys about the bumpers. I JUST SAID THEY HAVE DENTS. I am keeping them and doing what I want with them.
"Something different" as in not spending a ton of money on a car to make it sparkle like the builds on here. I am customizing the car the way I want to like everyone else. I specifically bought this car for a TRACK CAR.

why not sell the bumpers to someone who wants them, and run standard metal bumpers, or plastic bumpers or something?

and at rusting your hood and shit, then calling it "something different"

The hoods paint is terrible I would rather rust it then pay a few hundred dollars to get it painted, but then I would need to paint the whole car because the paint is just not good on it anymore. It has been baking in the Arizona heat for I don't know how long.
The bumpers are dented. It obviously had a front and rear accident. I bought this car for cheap to make it look like what I want it to with out spending a ton of money. I have an e36 that is my baby that I put a lot of money in to make it look immaculate.
I bought this car for a drift missile so I can go to events and won't care if something breaks on it. Down the road if I want to snaz it up and make it a 'show' car I will.
Sorry I am doing something different than everyone else and not getting top dollar coil overs and spending tons of money to make this car look like it came out of the factory. That's what my e36 is for. This e30 has a lot of body damages so I am just going to make it running and driving and give it a little personality.
