  • e36 gets done

So, my e36 has a sort of history with it..
My previous car was a e36 325i sedan, nice car but it had some rust spots on the body and not a real nice paint left.

But this car came to an and with an drift incident so i must search a solution.
Make the sedan or buy a different e36 and swap the engine or something..
So, i walked into an e36 coupe 323i automatic madeiraviolet colored en thought that this could be the one!
I bought the car for almost nothing, just 200 euro's! But with a broken overheated engine so the 323i engine ain't gonna cut it, but i have a 325i engine in my old sedan! Yes with this thought the project came together.

This is when i just got the car

Engine swapped in old engine next to it

    More to come very soon!

Nice start. I'm thinking of looking for a shell of my own. What are the plans for the car...wheels, tires...etc?

        Getting it al together.

        Coilovers fitted + BBS style 42 8x17 et20 tyres: 215/45

        A mate working on it.

So it must be more low and set the camber to more negative and it should be better!

Lots of work done and the car keeps gettin beter and beter!
Engine part is al done and the car runs sweet, so my next thing to do is focus on my stance.

This was how it sits with the rear adjusters stil in and the front wayy too high.

Threw the rear spring adjusters out and then it looked like this, i also put on a little m spoiler and painted the "skirts"
Sorry for the dirty car pic :P

Have adjust my front springs a little more to the low side so i think my stance is getting better and better now!

On the way for a little drift session, and swapped my 215/45 to 205/40 on the bbs rear wheels, front stil has 215/45 but wil soon be replaced.

Rear fenders gettin rolled to fit my future spacers!

I was seeing more and more e36's with golf lips so i was thinking why not give it a try, my m3 bumper is still waiting for paint.

So what do you guys think of it? is it a done or a not done?

And yes.. i know i have to grab my better cam and not my blackberry!
                Talk to you soon guys!
