Got married last May, and decided to move to Florida, in the Sarasota area from Akron, OH.
My wife and I've wanted rucks for a long time, but back in Ohio there wasn't really much of a scene nor places to ride. In our area most of the places we go require the Highways/Interstate.
So with the big more to FL, our first goal was to pick up some rucks!
I found mine first. A flat black, 2009 that had roughly 2,300

First thing I did was remove rear milk crate the kid had attached to the back…
Then I removed the mirrors, the rear fender, and the tail light assembly just leaving the brake light. I had also taken the front plastics off but have since put them back on.

Here is how I've ridden it for a while now…

Org. I had planned to go GY6, however after speaking to a lot of people and reading a ton, I have decided to keep the GET for its noted reliability.
But I'm keeping a close eye on The OTTO Factory and their Reflex/Big Ruck mount!!!
Now onto the mods…
Sunline V3 Mtn Bike Handlebars
PasswordJDM Handlebar Stem
PasswordJDM Pegs
Buzzetti kickstand
Bar end mirrors
K&N Filters
MNNTHBX Turttlehead taillight
MNNTHBX Peglegs (not pictured)
MNNTHBX Intake bracket (BIG THUMBS UP to ManInTheBox, BEST customer service around! His products and presentation (ie. product photos) are second to none! He was very helpful when any and all questions were asked!)
Radiator hose / intake tube w/ clamps
ZERO Racing variator
Yoshimura TRC Carbon Exhaust

Just picked up and very excited for my…
OTTO Factory GET engine extension kit. (7.5" stretch)
http://totalruckus.com/phpBB3/viewto...p?f=47&t=62307
Otto has also been a huge help! He has been there to answer any questions or concerns. His parts are top notch!
The quality is very professional and his stretch kits come nearly pre assembled, with all of the hardware zip tied where it will need to go for those who might not know!
Very excited to see what products The OTTO Factory will be coming out with in the future!

On order…
Posh Racing unlimited CDI
Scootershop CDI Box Posh Racing WIRE KIT
On deck… name/color/theme tbd, disc brakes, lower front forks, seat, mini fatty, wheels…
I'll be posting pics along the way as I do the mods.
