  • Polo 9n ideas please!!!!

Hey guys, my car is too heavy on petrol as an everyday ride, so I bought this polo 9n 1.4 trendline as my everyday pride and joy, The wheels came with the car but I **** them so they will be sold to help with the build. This car will take a while to get done but thats okay, the sound is taking most of my cash so, coilovers, wheels & tyres will probably come in a few months. What I need are a few photos of nice polos like mine, I want to be low but not too low to get killed by a speedbump, I want to add a set of 16" wheels maybe even 15" if that's going to be better.
honestly I dont know what to buy, people tell me about BC, JOM and vmaxx that are cheap but good coilovers and others tell me to go with springs and shocks.... what you guys think??? what else can i do to this car to make it look awesome???

Hahaha don't worry about the regulars on here they're just busting your chops, see your from the cape or someplace, firstly yeah ditch those wheels, find yourself some nice 15's 7-8" wide if possible and then start off with some lowering springs if your short for cash, when you got cash go for the BC's much better than the VMaxx

lol thanks guy, what about the JOM? heard they damn cheap but don't wanna buy rubbish too, yeah im from Cape Town, problem is that over here we dont have much nice wides to choose from, mostly ugly reps so im gonna have look hard for the right one, any suggestions from the BBs stable? I know someone who can get that

I haven't heard of JOM before, but also look at koni, very good stuff that. well you've got a bigger choice of wheels down there than here in Joburg, if you go "BBS" they'll be stolen in an instant, also they're not real BBS here, only a few Real sets in SA around other than the race cars that run them but id say just go find a set of wheels you like the look of, even if they're reps or not its your car and your budget I ran reps on my honda DD and it was cool for a DD, wasn"t a show car. Anyway best of luck on modding

you could take them apart and spray the inside housing or lamin-x the outside or leave them as is, but i think you should first change the wheels and do a drop then do stuff like headlights and sound etc.

don't go do modifications because you have to seem cool or fit in to some sort of club, just look at your car and decide what you'd like to see different about it
