      • Update:

Finally! Fixed the bag. It arrived from Bagriders via Mike a few weeks ago now, but only just got around to fit it. Took honestly 30 minutes. Then found one of the braided hoses was leaking at the hose itself, glad I got some replacements, and the bottom support on the bag on the other side was missing a bolt, so refitted that.

After 6 months and 12 days, I've neglected it since Players in September but the car fired up first time. Needs a really good clean. Next step is to install the water traps, change another braided hose and fit new connectors on the rear bags.

        Now for Instagram photos:

Also test fitted a front wheel. This was with a 15mm spacer with a rear AC Schnitzer. The barrel still touched the strut, so need to swap out a smaller barrel if I keep that spacer, and the lips I'm fitting are half inch larger so should be about spot on.

          • It really surprised myself. I changed out the battery a few months before Players as I couldn't leave it a week without dying.

There was some rot growing in between the leather dash and doorcard though. Needs some loving as a priority.

            • Do you still plan on fitting 10" wide wheels up front on this? If so, what offset you think you will need to accomplish this?

Well, this test picture was 17*10 ET5. And it caught the strut. I plan on changing barrel half an inch smaller, and lip half an inch larger. Probably end up with another 5mm on the spacer, so effective ET0. Long term will hopefully see the spacers replaced with an inch larger lip and smaller barrel.

                        • I can't say much really. It has never been properly set up yet, and I've never driven another bagged car to compare. It was previously far, far too floaty.

                          • Love the car man. Bagged e24 crew represent!

Can't wait to see the new wheels once you've worked them out.

                              • Love it! Possibly the best looking e24 I've ever seen. So are you still planning on doing ac schnizers in body color? I would consider something a bit brighter to give it a lighter look but do whatever you like! I've seen that you have good taste, so I highly doubt that you would mess this beauty up
