So I had a Chevy Prism which was a piece of serious dump. Traded it in, got a cheapo RAV4 L for the winter, then the 5th gear synchro went so I decided I'd go all in finally. I got myself a nice 03 GTI 1.8T. Pictures to follow, along with some plans.

plans
I like the wheels it has on it currently, they're Momo Corse Ten-S with Hankook tires. It's got a K&N cold air intake. I'm planning on getting a magnaflow cat-back to bring out the sound of the car and I'm ordering a skid plate.
The first step to stance is the skid plate.
I'm also going to start looking into coilovers vs bags so I'll take any suggestions and comments.

I would skip the skid plate if I were you, especially if you were thinking about bagging it. The skid plate will hold you up from laying out and you'll most likely get fed up with it and ditch it

first step IMO should change the wheels, there's many options, but what I like to see is BBS RS 17"..or LM's 18" with low profile tyres...or if you want 19" some rotiform would look nice on that VW

Update:
I bought spacers, they didn't fit. Gotta love the people at Pep Boys. I'm working on finding a euro front bumper but money's tight. Also, I want to do something uncommon. I want to run Wrangler wheels on this bitch.
Those.
I'd need to run wobble bolts too because The jeep wheels have a bit wider lug pattern, but it's possible.
thoughts?
