Finally, got a friend to weld that cracked barrel. Filed down the outer weld by hand for perfection. Gonna get the inner weld thickened just to make sure it wont re-crack...

Pretty stoked. Cracks freak me out. Especially with these, Im planning on running -9 degrees of camber in the rears. So I need to make sure the barrels will hold up under all the stress!Originally posted by 244Brick View Postlooks like it'll be a legit repair

What he said, it relieves the stress in the metal.Originally posted by martinm13 View PostBasically just drilling a small hole at the end of the crack so it doesn't continue to crack
Also, I really dig this car.

Couldnt be happier with the spraybomb job. Best I have done so far.
Finally closing the gap on this wheel build. I need all new M7 x 1.0 Flange Nuts, having a hard time finding new ones. Where can I get some?Last edited by nhojyauq; 04-12-2013, 12:28 AM.

My goal was to refinish these wheels, turning them into artwork. I wanted to pay attention to details that dont even really matter and to do it all myself on a small budget.
I couldnt be happier with the outcome.
got the custom OZ logo's today and took a mockup picture.

Just need flange new nuts and they will finally be done.Last edited by nhojyauq; 04-16-2013, 11:35 PM.
