This is awesome. I'm so happy to see another saturn guy on here. I'm trying to save up to do some work on my 2002 three door sc1.Your info is way more informative then 90% of post on sixth sphere.

    thanks!

so took a break from things wheel related for a bit and decided my trunk needed some attention.

Before: toooooo much junk in the trunk. definitely needed something to mount my amp to, plus the wires were a serious mess. and I didn't have a trunk light.

so i got to work! built a mount for the amp and tidied up the wires

and added an led light to brighten things up

    yay for 90's audio!

If you want a more mirror polish go to Princess Auto and get the Enkay polishing kit they sell there and a bunch of polishing buffs. The kit should come with rouge and white compound and a couple small buffs, but you'll want the larger diameter ones they sell separately. It's easier to get them to make contact without the drill hitting the lip. I have a set of BBS RS lips I'm just about done with and 3 of them are mirror polished. They started out looking just like yours did with tons of oxidation and pitting. The 4th one will be done this week. Use the rouge polish and then after wiping that off use the white with a different buff, then get some Mothers Mag and Aluminum wheel polish and go at them again. Then get some wax and wax them. It'll help pull a little more of the contaminants out of the lip as well as protecting them for a bit. I say Princess Auto because it'll be cheaper the Canadian Tire, and I know they have the stuff. The buffing actually doesn't take all that long either and you can watch as it goes from kinda cloudy to seeing your face clearly in it in just a few minutes. Amazing stuff. Good luck.

thanks guys! I'm hoping the wheels will set it off. I finally finished polishing the lips on the enkies, was such a pain to get the paint and corrosion off but they're done might do another polish on them if i can find a place with above 2000 grit sandpaper, but for now they're good, they're almost at a mirror finish. pics don't really do them justice.

oh and don't mind the one rim face, just bolted it on to see how it would look. Next I have to polish the other set and get the rest of the wheel faces ready for primer and paint

    +1

Agree 100% I think just getting wheels in general will be a totally different look.

cant see anything wrong with mismatched wheels, as long as the centers are the same color!

running different wheels is a little different when you drift cars and burn through tires...
