  • RWD VW Passat Estate with LS1 V8 engine

    Hey guys and girls

Heres my thread about a VW Passat Estate 1.9tdi now rebuilt to RWD with a LS1 corvette V8 engine. Most of the driveline is from BMW.

This car has been rebuilt from the bottom up, and is actually going to paint in just over a week! The color, well you will see soon enough

Anyways, heres a video of the first startup of the car. This was done about two weeks ago.

    And some pics.

The car is being built by Psycho-Tuning (www.psycho-tuning.no) in Norway, and will be ready for Gatebil and other events in Norway this year.

The exhaust system is built and sponsored by Svendsen Eksos.
Rims and wheels are sponsored by Jons Dekk og Felg.

And Sviddgummi.no is doing the media coverage for them.

Well guys, the car is finished

It did have som hickups on the way, like for instance the supercharger bits that didnt want to fit like they were supposed to, but the car is running now and worked perfectly at DHB in Denmark earlier this month.

The car will be at Gatebil in july, and we cant wait!

And finally, heres a video of it doing a 4th gear burnout at DHB!

So what do you guys think?

This is really something. Just amazing.

I can't keep it to myself though, not a fan of the bodykit or headlights.

The builders dont like the bodykit either, or I guess the front bumper. But because of the enormous radiator, it has to be used.

I am sure the car will get more work on its looks after this season, but for now its mostly being tweeked to work perfectly. As for now it has about 423bhp at 5500rpm and 650nm at 3500rpm. This is with 8psi of pressure.
