    e39 on gold CCW's...(pic heavy)

    Well I figured I'd throw up a build thread since I haven't ever really posted much (anything really) on the car.

    Well it started one day when I saw the car online, but never thought I'd own it. However I decided to throw my car up for sale and luckily the next day a guy stopped by my house to pick it up and as quick as that I drove over to pick it up.

    The e36 I sold:


    Then as soon as I got home I snapped a few quick pics of my new e39 in all of its stock glory.

    After driving it for maybe a month I was tired of the stock e39 bumpers and decided to get some m-tech bumpers all around

    I noticed the drivers side rear tire was de-flating every day so I went to check it out and noticed a second and final crack was in the wheel and I couldn't find a fourth to replace the unrepairable wheel. So a new set of wheels had to come, I have always liked ccw's (if you couldn't tell by my e36) so I ordered another set.

    I ordered the rears too large and couldn't get a skinnier tire to mount up so I had to get the rear re-barreled.

    I got tired of the foggy oem lights so I ordered some dj autos from umnitza

    Ended up getting a new tire for free (thanks discount tire) and this brings me to last night. I put on some BC coilovers and here is a sneak peek...

    I can still go about 3" lower and I'm lowering the rear more this weekend, then I'll take some real pics of it.

      As I read the post, this happen:

      At first i was going to comment that the wheels poked out too much.
      BUT, you took care of that.

      Then I was going to comment about the meaty tires,
      BUT, you too care of that.

      And the whole time I was chomping at the bit to comment on how it would look better if it was lower....
      BUT you took care of that too!


      So, I have nothing to say about this other than it's looks very nice and what are your wheel specs.

        reminds me of the white E39 (now wrapped in matte green) from "SuperFrezh" here in china.





        to be honest, the car was classier/cleaner with the ACs, but its your taste what counts here.

        you still on the right path.

        btw, what engine's under the hood? any interior or bay pics?

                  It's actually white right now, he unwrapped it (according to the threads he made).

                  And it's a 540i/6 - so it's a 4.4 litre v8, and I have a few

                        this thing just blew my mind! close to e39 perfection right here
                        only one thing doesn't appeal to me is that cd player, but oem sucks big time when it comes to sq and tech so i understand
