I just can't keep both e28s. One or the other. I wish I could keep them both.
I'm not bored at all with my car, to tell the truth. So much more to do. I just don't have time, and also I own a motorcycle now that I like.

OH HEY UPDATE:


I forget if I mentioned, but I'm putting a new engine in. Instead of just replacing the oil pan, I decided to just replace the whole engine with a much fresher one.

So I loaded the car up on my lift, in my nice heated garage, with my state of the art toolset.

Ripped out the old engine:



New engine delivered, and I got to putting all my powdercoated pulleys/fuel rails, etc on it. Hosed out the coolant lines, all that.

The shift linkage mounts were all broken, so I replaced the rubber that had faded with solid metal spacers. SOLID MOUNTS RACE CAR. I don't have pictures of this. Just before. Use your imagination.




Also ripping the engine out ripped some of the exhaust wrap so I got a pan full of water, soaked some new wrap and put it on at 11pm. Pretty awesome life.

I had to take the stock manifolds off for my headers to replace them. The first 11 bolts came off perfectly fine, and the 12 stripped out because I couldn't get anything but an open wrench on it. SO



Ready to go in. Transmission, pilot bearing, clutch and all that swapped over, all the boring stuff.
Two days later, at night.

Thanks to Sam for coming to help. He has an e30 with an s50. He hasn't let me drive it because he's a cock.





Then I drove my wife's car to get hot and sour soup.
