    The wheels became silver. And I spend probably over 24 hours polishing out the lips, mainly because it took me 2 days of buffing to realize they had been chromed. So I had to hand sand all the chrome off. Paint stripper didn't work on chrome.

    But they got there


    Polished up to 2000 grit.


    Shined up the barrels,Reverse mount?













    Some of you may know I bought an Audi (Buy it), I found an extra leather shift knob in the glovebox. The leather was frayed, so I took it off and to my surprise:


    I stained the wood with a Red Oak stain to match the Nardi wheel I have on the way.


    Finished:


    Just need to find something for the top.


    That's it!
