i'll just rob the posts off another forum
painted my mirrors as they were corroded and the paint was badly flaking. Used water based paint.

ecth primed then whited primed
basecoat
lacquered and on the car, that's the finish from the gun
no wonder my car is always scraping and it burst the sump! wait till i can get some 16's!
startin on the rusty wing and front and back bumpers on monday.
ok got my back bumper off and a slight crease filled
and primed
and a brand spankin new genuine bmw wing...
also happy with how solid behind the bumper is
ok bit of an update, got the wing sprayed. boss man sprayed it one evening cos he was goin away for a week so i wouldn't get a chance to spray it myself. needs to be done again to blend it into the door but it'll do for now. didn't bother doin the bumper as we said we'd do the lot at the same time, i'm preppin the front bumper now myself at home for the week.

well the cars finished. i didn't spray it myself as the shop owner was in a rush to get it out cos he was busy and i didn't wanna chance messin it up after all the prep work i did!
anyway here's a load of pics, i'm very happy with the car now. just want different wheels. and a better engine.
ok tried on my non spoiler bootlid, i like it, nicer flow to the car!
just want proper wheels for it now and a proper engine. thinkin wide 16s and a 3.0 m3 or a dirty datsun!!
