Ford Phokus...WIP

Hey all. So, as stated in my noob thread, here's how my Focus is currently looking. There is more to come. Interior needs a retrim, engine needs some dress up, there is going to be some airbrushing on the roofbox and obviously sort out the stance

Firstly, I'm going to throw up how it looks now and then I'll put up how it got to that stage

Went round to a mates a few weeks back to go to the driving range and he started moaning about the wheels looking a state (to be fair, they were battered) so he managed to convince me (really didn't take too much effort) to get them ghetto refurbed. Soooo here's the results of our (well, mainly his) hard work

Prepping:


No pics of it sprayed gloss black but...here comes the Marmite bit

As you can see we also thought the caliper was pretty bland so we also painted that with a black splat

Centre caps are also now on the car, black with orange Ford badge....

Then coilovers, all red-rears, custom stickers (may soon be removed..) and roofbars happened..

Fair enough. I can appreciate all c&c's I know my car isn't to everyone's taste, but I'm enjoying it

I did the splats to be different and to match the original sub and amp I had (colour scheme). I'll be running this pretty much as it is this year. Then when I get bored after this year's show season, the splats may go along with a new boot build. I love the colour of the car as it is, but I'm also contemplating a change of colour for next year too. I dunno, we'll see what happens

Fantastic Focus! I love the current state and the roof box finishes it off nicely. How is it to live with? Do you daily it?

Cheers dude. Yea its a daily. Only the odd scrape over speed humps every now and then Roofbox has been on since last August. Affects the fuel consumption a bit but is useful for shows when I can't put anything in the boot/trunk lol

Thanks both. And Edwin I know haha. Will cost a fair bit. I'm hoping to get a nice bonus from work soon though. That'll either go towards a retrim or air. I'm actually leaning more towards a trim though over air to be honest
