      Thanks guys

      I'm a self-confessed whore...sorry First sorta online feature!

Very happy with the write-up fair play. Also decided it was time to lose the rear stickers...however I think it looks bland now so I've decided I want some genuine scene-stickers from the US and US rear lights.

Can't wait to get my wheels back on now. Want this crappy weather to go!!!

      Cheers!

Well, decided that Saturday was a lovely day to get the wheels back on

As you can probably see here (just after they were re-fitted) the car is now sitting a healthy bit lower (although to be honest, after this pic it was raised slightly due to rubbing issues lol)

Finally, a decent rolling shot of the car on the new wheels <3

And a mini-night shoot randomly done in Swansea

        ^^Slight over-exposure...whoops!

And the scene-stickers...I know I'll get a lot of **** for these  but I'm not really bothered. I like them and its my car so s'all good

Just really wish I'd have got some tyre shine on it before the shoot

Ah well, bed-time now as early start tomorrow!

Been a while. Not a lot has changed. Its been to a bodyshop where its had a few bits done. Front bumper has been re-smoothed and painted, roofbox re-painted, rear arches rolled and some rust sorted. Its also been lowered more now on the front after passing its MOT. Next up, interior. Got something special lined up for the front seats too, and will be done asap.

Jon the car looks great as always.

With the smoothed front and rear bumpers I can't help but think that you should shave the door moldings but keep the body line in their place.

                I love this car.

If it's worth doing, it's worth doing right.

                Your blast pipes look stupid.

Cheers guys. It's getting there. Sorted the ride height on the weekend so the front is a bit lower again now. Also entered the Power and Style awards at Trax in Silverstone this year so really need to get cracking with the interior. New, custom front seats soon

And I also love the colour thanks

Well, its been a little while since I did a proper update. So, I finally have one.

These black leather rear seats were on eBay with no bids and not a lot of time left. I actually forgot about them myself until 5 minutes before they finished, realised no-one had still bidded on them so chucked in a £10 max bid. The timer ended, and RESULT! I won them...for 99p. Yes, that isn't a typo...I won these seats for 99p (which is about $1.60)

So I immediately e-mailed the seller to find out what would happen with shipping/payment etc. (expecting the seller would back out or demand more). To my surprise, she e-mailed me back the following morning to arrange collection. She lives in North Wales and was working in Hereford on the Friday of that week so actually brought them to work with her so I could collect them, saving me an extra hours journey and a shit-load more in petrol. She was a really nice lady to be fair and was glad to get rid of them. WINNER

                    In the car after collection:

At home to inspect their condition (to which they are mint. No rips/tears/or even any scuffs)

And the next day, after about 2 hours (including going to buy a new screw bit) I fitted them

Now on the lookout for a set of fronts. I've got some in mind and watching a set at the moment. Some people know what I'm looking at but for those who don't, you'll have to wait and see (and they're not going to be normal Focus seats )

I also had a nice 2 weeks off last week so decided to go and practice my photography with a day and night shoot (please excuse the day pics as the car was filthy, cleaned up for the evening)

Some of you may also notice that I've removed the sticker stack on the back and only left the one JimmyUp sticker. The front stickers will also be going as soon as I get a chance

I was also planning to do a change in the interior colour scheme from the black and orange to a new theme for next year, however when I explained this to the parents, they kinda told me about what they'd bought me for Christmas...something I'd designed and showed them a while back. So, for this reason the black and orange is staying

                    So, that's it for now.

                    Jon

                      After a good clean #photowhore

Very much debating whether to keep the car and turn it into a proper show car (plans to get air and proper splits if I do...) or sell up for a 350z or BMW 5-series. Need a long think...

I'm generally not a fan of painted interior parts, and even less a fan of splatter paint, but the way you kind of tied everything together works for me for some reason. Not on the audi wheels though, but it's looking good now.

If you don't keep the focus don't get a z or 5 series...Those are kinda dime a dozen

Man please keep this car. You've got such a nice unique ride there to trade it for a 5 or 350. Nothing against guys that have those, but I like different.

Cheers all. Will see what happens when the time comes really. And here in the UK, 350's and 5-series' are not actually hugely common. And my plan with one of those wouldn't be to go as extreme as this one is

Ok...so I've been doing a lot of thinking lately, and I think I've decided to bite the bullet and keep the damn thing lol (although I'm still finding myself going back to eBay and Pistonheads looking at 350z's and BMW M3's...). A few things have kinda persuaded me. Firstly, a few mates tempting me to keep it, secondly my custom high-tops arrived and thirdly these chops...

Oh and some bonus pics of my awesome high-tops

And because my phone doesn't properly show how orange they are...
