Your car is so well executed. Getting rid of it would be so sad, but I know how it feels to want to move on, haha. I'm sure if you get something new it'll be just as sick!

if your keeping it, wrap that thing! do something cool with the wrap, new color, new finish or something!
love the car, you do great DIY work, I respect that

Ok...so I've been doing a lot of thinking lately, and I think I've decided to bite the bullet and keep the damn thing lol (although I'm still finding myself going back to eBay and Pistonheads looking at 350z's and BMW M3's...). A few things have kinda persuaded me. Firstly, a few mates tempting me to keep it, secondly my custom high-tops arrived and thirdly these chops...
Oh and some bonus pics of my awesome high-tops
And because my phone doesn't properly show how orange they are...

Cheers all. Will see what happens when the time comes really. And here in the UK, 350's and 5-series' are not actually hugely common. And my plan with one of those wouldn't be to go as extreme as this one is

Man please keep this car. You've got such a nice unique ride there to trade it for a 5 or 350. Nothing against guys that have those, but I like different.

If you don't keep the focus don't get a z or 5 series...Those are kinda dime a dozen

I'm generally not a fan of painted interior parts, and even less a fan of splatter paint, but the way you kind of tied everything together works for me for some reason. Not on the audi wheels though, but it's looking good now.

After a good clean #photowhore
Very much debating whether to keep the car and turn it into a proper show car (plans to get air and proper splits if I do...) or sell up for a 350z or BMW 5-series. Need a long think...

Well, its been a little while since I did a proper update. So, I finally have one.
These black leather rear seats were on eBay with no bids and not a lot of time left. I actually forgot about them myself until 5 minutes before they finished, realised no-one had still bidded on them so chucked in a £10 max bid. The timer ended, and RESULT! I won them...for 99p. Yes, that isn't a typo...I won these seats for 99p (which is about $1.60)
So I immediately e-mailed the seller to find out what would happen with shipping/payment etc. (expecting the seller would back out or demand more). To my surprise, she e-mailed me back the following morning to arrange collection. She lives in North Wales and was working in Hereford on the Friday of that week so actually brought them to work with her so I could collect them, saving me an extra hours journey and a shit-load more in petrol. She was a really nice lady to be fair and was glad to get rid of them. WINNER
In the car after collection:
At home to inspect their condition (to which they are mint. No rips/tears/or even any scuffs)
And the next day, after about 2 hours (including going to buy a new screw bit) I fitted them
Now on the lookout for a set of fronts. I've got some in mind and watching a set at the moment. Some people know what I'm looking at but for those who don't, you'll have to wait and see (and they're not going to be normal Focus seats)
I also had a nice 2 weeks off last week so decided to go and practice my photography with a day and night shoot (please excuse the day pics as the car was filthy, cleaned up for the evening)
Some of you may also notice that I've removed the sticker stack on the back and only left the one JimmyUp sticker. The front stickers will also be going as soon as I get a chance
I was also planning to do a change in the interior colour scheme from the black and orange to a new theme for next year, however when I explained this to the parents, they kinda told me about what they'd bought me for Christmas...something I'd designed and showed them a while back. So, for this reason the black and orange is staying
So, that's it for now.

Cheers guys. It's getting there. Sorted the ride height on the weekend so the front is a bit lower again now. Also entered the Power and Style awards at Trax in Silverstone this year so really need to get cracking with the interior. New, custom front seats soon
And I also love the colour thanks
Jon
